A call to action: 30 000 lives to save!
Global Road Safety
No more victims on the roads! This is the key message of the new campaign, 30 000 lives to save, the European Road Safety Charter has launched recently. In 2011, an estimate of 30 000 people lost their lives on European roads which equals with 205 Boeing 737 airplanes crashing and killing everyone on board. As a response, the objective of the campaign is to engage more than 30 000 individual participants in road safety related topics and moreover, make the road safety a priority for all. It is time for everyone to forward this message and convince more entities to act and contribute to saving 30 000 lives! Do you also want to be part of this world wide cause?
