Firmware Developer - Embedded Systems (m/f)

Frotcom International SA is a Portuguese company active in the development of Fleet Management systems (Telematics). Our software, Frotcom, is currently sold in 40+ countries around the world, through a network of Frotcom Certified Partners.

You will be working in our office in Carnaxide, Portugal, where we have a team of 40 #amazing# people, working in areas such as Software Development, Account Management, Logistics, Marketing, and Administration, among others.

The Job
 
You will be joining a motivated software agile driven team, responsible for the development of software and configurations for embarked devices such as tracking devices, sensors, accessories and driver communication devices.
                 
So, what will you be doing as a Firmware Developer?

To perform this job successfully you must be able to execute the following tasks: 
 

• Create and maintain software and configurations used in tracking devices and in driver communication devices;
• Integrate sensors and other accessories;
• Create internal technical documentation for embarked devices and sensors;
• Create user manuals for embarked devices and accessories;
• Create server-side components for the integration of embarked devices with Frotcom Data Center;
• Assist the technical support department in analyzing and solving hardware-related problems;
• Assist CTO in the process of selecting new devices and accessories;
• Coordinate HW testing activities.
