About this integration

The integration between Frotcom and KRONE allows trailer data from KRONE telematics units to be automatically available in Frotcom, giving you real-time visibility of your trailers in a single platform.

Data shared

Once activated through the KRONE Telematics portal, you can quickly and securely transfer various data types from your assets to Frotcom, including:

position and direction,
speed,
mileage,
temperature sensors and setpoints,
door sensor status,
fuel level.

All with no additional hardware or installation required.

How it works

Frotcom’s integration with KRONE Telematics works seamlessly, using the existing telematics unit already installed in KRONE trailers. No extra devices or installation required.

1. KRONE Telematics Unit
Each KRONE trailer is equipped with a factory-installed telematics unit that collects real-time trailer data (position, temperature, fuel level, door status, etc.).

2. Data transmission to Frotcom
Once the integration is activated via the KRONE Telematics portal, the collected trailer data is securely and automatically transmitted to Frotcom’s data center.

3. Processing and visualization
Frotcom processes the incoming data and presents it in its intuitive interface, where you can monitor trailers in real time, generate reports, configure alarms, and analyze trends.

4. Smart alarms and notifications
Custom alarms can be defined (e.g., temperature thresholds, geofence violations, door openings). When triggered, these alerts are sent to relevant staff and/or drivers via the Driver App or email/SMS.

5. Full control from day one
From the moment the integration is activated, your KRONE trailers become part of your centralized Frotcom fleet management system: with no downtime, no manual setup, and no disruption to your operations.
