In the second edition of the "Did you know", we will tell you about two new but useful functionalities in the Frotcom system. Although recently introduced, they can facilitate the work and daily life of a large part of the office, and not only.
1. Quick Information
First, we'll talk about a new field or menu that appears on the map when you select a point on the route of a vehicle from your fleet.
"Quick Info" gives you data on exactly what happened at that point - stop, rest or other - as well as the exact location, speed, kilometers, date and time of the event. So, you will know at a glance what is happening with your vehicles at any moment, and you can react in a timely manner.
2. Radius Search
This is one of the most recently added functionalities in the Frotcom system, which allows you to search within a radius which vehicles in your fleet have passed through a given point and what their dwell time was there. The functionality allows you to quickly and conveniently select a point on the map or set an address and within a radius of it (from 1 to 50 km) track the attendance of your vehicles for a period of up to 7 days back. The obtained results can be exported and subsequently filtered for maximum efficiency.
To take advantage of the newly added option, it is necessary to set a point on the map that you are interested in and select the option "Search by radius from here" with the right mouse button. After that, a new window will appear in which you can select the radius from the given point, as well as the period you are interested in. You need to press the "Search" button. You can see the results when you are on the map and from the top right menu select the button "Search by radius", then this and all previous searches up to now will be loaded. So, you can see through this point how many of your vehicles have passed in each period and what their time of stay there was.
This functionality is extremely useful for HGV companies operating with fixed days/hours. This way you will be able to quickly and easily check how many of your vehicles have been at the selected location. It can also be used to prove a driver's arrival/departure time from/to an address in the event of a dispute.
