Frotcom customers managing Schmitz Cargobull trailers can now automatically access trailer data using advanced telematics. This enables more intelligent management by consolidating all information on one platform. The data transmission is hassle-free, requiring no complicated installations or disruptions.

With the first phase of the integration, you were able to quickly transfer from the trailers to Frotcom’s data center in real time, and using secure communication protocols to ensure data integrity and privacy, the following data:

• License plate information
• Position/Speed/Time (PVT)
• Temperature sensor readings
• Door sensor status

Now, it also allows you to transfer other data types, such as:

• Timestamp
• Vehicle location (latitude and longitude)
• Vehicle speed and heading
• Compartment temperatures
• Door status
• Manufacturer and model
• CANBus odometer
• Weight
• Temperature setpoints
• Fuel level (percentage and liters)
• Tire pressures and temperatures (TPMS)
• Battery voltage
