The Job
You will be joining a motivated software agile-driven team, working with the Principal Product Owner in conciliating product vision from all stakeholders internal and external (Partners and Customers), for the definition of product evolution and adaptation to market requirements; Measure the adoption of the product and propose strategies to increase it; Write software requirements, user stories and wireframes in the product backlog, and help manage development priorities.
So, what will you be doing as a Product Owner?
To perform this job successfully you must be able to execute the following tasks:
- Work with the Principal Product Owner on the definition of the product roadmap, scoped by the ownerships of the Development Team assigned;
- Gather and analyze feature requests from partners and customers;
- Conduct periodic focus group meetings with stakeholders internal and external to gather information on future improvements/features;
- Translate product roadmap and feature requests into software requirements;
- Fully describe requirements in the product backlog, using user stories and wireframes;
- Create the Features Requirements document, breaking down the requirements in user stories;
- Manage the priorities of backlog items in preparation for development iterations;
- Follow the development process to ensure the adherence to specifications;
- Be available to the development team to clarify less understood requirements;
- Participate in the Scrum events, contributing to team efficiency and software quality;
- Be the liaison between the dev team and stakeholders, to negotiate priorities and scope even during development;
- Collaborate in the writing of technical documentation and user manuals;
- Create product strategy documents that describe business cases, high-level use cases, technical requirements, revenue and ROI.
Requirements
Wondering what skills are needed? Here they are:
• Experience as product manager or product owner for SaS products;
• Knowledge of Scrum methodology;
• Strong knowledge of web/mobile SaaS platform technologies, programming languages, and frameworks;
• Experience in user interface design;
• Experience in conducting requirement meetings with internal and external stakeholders;
• Experience in promoting new features through release notes, business cases, and high-level use cases.

Other valued skills:
The Product Owner must have a Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and 4+ years of experience with similar responsibilities.
