Since 2024, every cargo imported to or traveling through Romania must have an UIT (Unique Identification Transport) code assigned, provided by ANAF Romania (National Financial Agency). At the same time, all vehicles involved should transmit their GPS data to ANAF, as long as UIT code is active.

Frotcom has partnered with SmartTAX for that purpose. Transportation companies should contact SmartTAX and indicate they want to connect their Frotcom account to SmartTAX.
