Set up Severity Levels in your Frotcom Fleet Alarms

Fri, 05/06/2020 - 10:08
News & Events

Frotcom now allows you to create severity levels for user-defined alarms with a brand new feature.

Any alarm set by the users is always important. Still, there is a noticeable tendency in larger fleets to have numerous unprocessed alarms, and that can prevent a critical alarm from being processed - or even noticed - by the user in time.

To overcome this, Frotcom is glad to announce the new Severity Level feature, which will give users the possibility to create up to four severity levels for their alarms and to monitor them in a much simpler and efficient way.

To configure your severity levels by order of importance, click on Alarms settings under the Hamburger menu in Administration > Alarms.

There you’ll see a list with all the severity levels already configured, where you can edit them or start creating the severity levels for your account by order of importance (from top to bottom regarding their weight).

Inside the Alarms list, the alarms will now appear in different groups according to their severity and in four levels (E.g., General, Important, Informative, and Undefined). The Undefined level includes all the alarms that were not given a specific severity level.

Using the new intuitive Severity Levels feature will help you make sure that all alarms are processed and that you can react on time, contributing to more efficient fleet management and ensuring the safety of all drivers.
