Automatically change your vehicle status based on triggered alarms
With this new functionality, you will automatically configure Alarms to change the Vehicle status of your fleet’s vehicles.
The new Automatic vehicle status based on alarms allows you to configure Alarms to automatically change the Status of one or more vehicles of your fleet, once the alarm is triggered.
There are several benefits in automatically changing your Vehicle status, such as:
- Better planning of fleet activity, as you will know how many and which vehicles are available;
- Less manual labor, as the system automatically changes the status.
For instance, you can set up an Area entrance alarm for a repair center area. As soon as the vehicle enters this area and stops there, the alarm is triggered, and the vehicle’s status automatically changes to Maintenance. And vice versa, as soon as the vehicle leaves the repair center area, the Status will change automatically to Available. You can use the statuses to select the vehicles you want, by using the Vehicle filters or the options inside Nearest vehicles, for instance.
