Frotcom and KRONE Partner to Deliver Seamless Trailer Telematics Integration on a Single Platform
PRESS
Automatic data exchange enables real-time trailer insights directly into the Frotcom platform, with no additional hardware required.

Frotcom, a global fleet management and vehicle tracking solutions provider, has partnered with KRONE, one of Europe’s leading trailer manufacturers, to launch seamless data integration. Through this Data Partnership, Frotcom users can access KRONE trailer data directly in the Frotcom platform, with no need for aftermarket hardware or manual setup.

Real-Time Trailer Data, Instantly Available
Fleet managers can now access a wide range of real-time trailer data through the Frotcom interface, including:
- Position (latitude, longitude) and direction;
- Speed;
- Mileage;
- Temperature sensor data (up to 6 sensors) and setpoints (up to 3);
- Door sensor status;
- Fuel level.
This data becomes available without installing extra hardware, simplifying operations and saving time and money.
Key Features Available in Frotcom
Once integrated, users can take full advantage of Frotcom’s advanced tools to visualize and act on KRONE trailer data. Key features include:
- Map: View real-time location and movement of trailers
- Reports: Generate detailed reports for analysis and compliance
- Alarms, including:
- Temperature thresholds
- Door openings
- Speed violations
- Geofence entry and exit
- Graphs: Visualize sensor data and trends over time
- Vehicle > Infobox: Access detailed asset information in one view
- Management: Fuel, refuel: Monitor and manage fuel levels and refueling events
These features give fleet managers full control over operations, backed by actionable data and intuitive tools.
Why This Integration Matters?
The main benefits for fleet managers include:
- Managing trucks and assets in a single platform using Frotcom’s advanced tools, including custom alarms, reports, route planning, ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival) control, among others;
- Avoiding the complexity and cost of additional GPS tracker installations and reducing vehicle downtime.
“Modern logistics operations rely on centralized visibility, especially with mixed fleets”, said Helena Ahlström, Co-CEO of Frotcom International. “Our partnership with KRONE provides just that. With this integration, Frotcom users can effortlessly track and manage their KRONE trailers using the existing systems built into the trailers. No downtime or extra installations are needed, just reliable data from day one.”
Easy Activation, Full Data Control
Fleet operators can activate the integration directly through the KRONE Telematics portal. Once enabled, data is securely transferred to the Frotcom platform, where users can configure access and usage according to their preferences. There is no technical complexity and no disruption to existing operations.
In addition, fleet managers have complete control over their data and can adjust data-sharing preferences as necessary.
Driving Innovation Together
“Our collaboration with Frotcom shows KRONE’s ongoing commitment to helping transport companies work more efficiently,” said Maximilian Birle, Head of Telematics & Digital at KRONE. “By enabling easy access to trailer data through trusted platforms like Frotcom, we’re giving customers better tools to make fast, informed decisions.”
This integration is now available to Frotcom users in supported regions and is expected to expand further. It gives fleet operators a more innovative, efficient way to manage trailer utilization, safety, and performance, all from one centralized platform.
