What Is a UIT Code?
A UIT (Unique Identification Transport) code is a unique identifier generated by the Romanian e-Transport system to track and monitor the movement of goods within or through Romania. It is mandatory for specific categories of goods, particularly those considered high-risk for tax evasion.
