Frotcom demonstrates differentiation and innovation at the Commercial Vehicle Show 2017
Greatly received by both the press and public, Frotcom United Kingdom focused its presence on Frotcom’s 20 year heritage and differentiating features.
Frotcom United Kingdom exhibited for three days (April 25-27) at the CV Show 2017 at the NEC in Birmingham.
Frotcom’s driving behavior analysis, job dispatch, routing and workforce management, drive camera integration with the Garmin dēzlCam™ and new Fleet 7x0 received particular interest. One real draw was Frotcom’s ability to remotely download tachograph data and the speed limiter solution.
Live demos were broadcast onto big screens mounted on stand pods.
In addition, Frotcom launched the brand new Frotcom TV, with the ability to display 360-degree panoramic views surrounding a vehicle, a great display on a big screen in any office. Frotcom TV creates a non-stop newscast featuring news about the fleet, the company and any other pre-selected news sources, such as the BBC, Financial Times or others, provided they have RSS.
Clive Taylor, Commercial Director at Frotcom International stated, “Frotcom UK took a large 6 x 9m stand to serve as a real announcement of Frotcom’s presence in the UK. The show has proven to be very successful with a significant number of serious leads collected, many of them with fleets of 100 or more. Most fleets are looking to replace their current provider; this shows the high level of penetration of telematics in the UK market (estimated at 66% of all commercial vehicles)”.
About the CV Show
The CV Show is the best attended, largest and most comprehensive road transport and commercial vehicle event held in the UK. The Show attracts close to 21,000 business visitors. The UK is the most advanced telematics market in the world, and drive video (for insurance claims) combined with telematics is the most obvious evolution being driven by the telematics industry.
